Camp Wahoo! Perfect one of a kind camp for kids who love horses & the
outdoors. The beautiful North Fork of the Teanaway River northeast of Cle
Elum is the home of Camp Wahoo! and is operated by High Country Outfitters.
Small living groups of 6 to 7 are part of the uniqueness of this wilderness
horse camp. Each camper will practice a learn-by doing approach, the camp
philosophy. The camp sessions are limited to 18 campers and 6 leadership
campers. Each camper is assigned their own horse to ride and care for
during their stay. Daily trail rides and an overnight trail ride are the
highlights of this camp. Campers will also learn to live in harmony with
nature while learning outdoor living skils necessary for their over night
trail ride. This is a one of a kind camp in the Northwest! The Camp Wahoo

Canoe Island French Camp Speak French while enjoying the fun of residential camp on a private island in the San Juan Islands of Washington. By the first dinner you will be saying "Puis-je avoir du lait" to ask for milk. Speaking French will come easily whatever your level.With a maximum of 40 campers, you can plan your day's activities: theatrical and artistic, athletic and adventuresome or a combination. Make a masque fantastique for a masquerade ball, rapelle down to the ocean's edge, bake a tarte aux pommes, or kayak to an island beach. Activities include fencing, archery, sailing, kayaking, swimming, photography, and marine biology/snorkeling, and every session has special activities related to its theme: La Revolution Francaise, Les Voyageurs, Les Chevaliers, or Le Tour du Monde.With only four campers per tipi you will enjoy close camaraderie with your tipi mates. Counselors, from France or other Francophone countries, will share their culture, food, and history with you. Cascade Camp Cherith For 59 years we have been providing a fun and positive camping experience that encourages campers to put Christ in every aspect of life. Our outdoor residential program, located in Cle Elum, emphasizes small groups and features separate programs for boys and girls. The Camp Cherith Campers in Leadership Training program (CILT) trains kids to be leaders and role models in their communities and churches as well as in the outdoor setting. Our Bible Exploration program uses materials developed nationally for all 25 Cherith camps and helps children to look to God’s Word as their guide for life.
We feature skill building activities taught by certified instructors. These activities include horsemanship, canoeing, archery, riflery, outdoor skills and swimming. Activities such as whittling, field games, crafts, rocketry, clowning, drama and chess ensure that all campers can choose week-long activities that they enjoy and that will challenge them. We believe in fun and provide campers the opportunity to enjoy a Saturn® water toy, Lazer Tag®, a bungee run, a water slide and marshmallow wars. Chestnut Hill Academy-Camp Explorations Camp Explorations is an extraordinary summer experience for children ages 5-11! With a different theme each week, campers will spend mornings learning, creating and having fun in large groups. In the afternoons, campers may choose from a variety of classes including sports, arts and crafts, music and drama, science, and technology. City of Redmond, Parks and Recreation The City of Redmond Parks and Recreation department offers a variety of daycamp programs for children 3 to 18 years old. We offer full and half day programs. Camp themes range from outdoor exploration, pony, and science to art, drama, music, and sports. We also offer adaptive recreation programs and inclusion services.
Cougar Quest: A Summer Academic Camp at Washington State University Cougar Quest is an academic summer camp for highly capable students on the Washington State University Pullman campus. The camp is designed to meet the educational and social needs of young college-bound students entering grades 7 through 12 in fall 2007.There are two weeks of camp, one to accommodate 7th through 9th graders and the second for 9th through 12th graders. For one exciting week high achieving students attend three rigorous workshops of their choosing. The workshops are taught by Washington State University professors and are full of hands-on activities that are meant to challenge and keep the interest of students.
Students truly get to choose their own route to discovery at camp and have access to workshops such as, Lego Mindstorm Robots, Batty about Bats, Culinary Arts, Alien Quest and many more. Through interactive activities and use of top of the line technology and techniques, students get to experience an amazing summer of learning. Here, learning is a combination of fun and exploration.
Cougar Quest is not only about motivating academically inclined students, however. Part of the experience of camp is to explore the WSU campus and see how rewarding college life can be. Social and recreational activities are planned throughout the week. Additionally, students live in a residence hall and eat in a dining center, making for a unique experience. After attending camp many students show an increased interest in pursuing higher education and look forward to next summer when they can continue to learn about topics not usually taught in school.

Coyote Central From June 26 through August 4th, Coyote will conduct 20 hour weeklong workshops for 5th – 9th graders that are taught by talented professionals in professional workplaces. During the fall, winter, and spring, Coyote courses take place on 7 – 10 consecutive Saturdays, but in the summer they are intensive 4 hour daily sessions spread over a week. Kids get to problem solve in the most engaging way possible and they turn out remarkable furniture, photography, hand-blown glass, radio broadcasts, soap box derby cars and much more. Twenty hour courses cost an average of $200 each. To ensure that any student can enroll, Coyote has a generous scholarship program and system of barters and trades.

Open Window School Open Window School presents its annual six-week, Summer Exploration Camp for 4-11 year olds. Port Townsend Marine
Science Center–Marine and Earth Science Summer Camps The Port Townsend Marine Science Center offers a variety of week-long camps centered around the marine environments of Port Townsend Bay and the Straits of Juan de Fuca.
In Bugs,Bones and Bluffs, campers will explore the varied natural environments from beach and glacial bluff to forest, pond and meadow and capture their observations through arts and crafts activities. They will put together skeletons of marine mammals, catch and learn about insects, find out about earthquakes detected on our seismograph, investigate the life in a pond, and make connections between fossil animals and their descendants alive today. With hikes, games and quiet times in a beautiful setting, this camp offers fun, hands-on experiential learning.BR>
In Marine Biology Adventures Overnight and Day Camps, campers are immersed in scientific study, creative actives and respectful play. Activities include sieving through goopy sediments looking for brittle stars, pulling a seine net though eelgrass beds to learn where young fish hide and observing microscopic life that supports all life in the sea. These activities give campers the opportunity to learn about individual groups of marine plants and animals while taking an ecosystem approach to marine study.
Adventures in Marine Research is a weeklong residential workshop for students entering grades 9-12. Students will explore research methods in our Discovery Lab using examples from real projects around Puget Sound. Travel to other research labs and restoration sites to meet with scientists working in the field, sail on the 68' Schooner Martha and snorkel around our dock to get a better understanding of our local environment. Then, after a week of exploration, formulate your own research hypothesis, create and conduct your experiment with full access to all our lab equipment. Join us in this unique opportunity to jump head first into the world of marine research.

Rain City Fencing CenterSeattle Audubon Nature Camp provides fun, hands-on learning for the young and curious naturalist with weekly themes for each age group. Seattle Audubon has been dedicated to providing environmental and nature based education for the youth of Seattle for 21 years with our summer nature camps.
~ Weeklong summer day camps for children entering grades 1-3 and 4-6. Environmental educational activities, 2 field trips per week, fun games, and creative art projects led by talented, caring adult naturalists.
~ Adventure Camping for youth entering grades 6-12. Join other teens on an expedition to discover the fascinating variety of birds and other wildlife of the Pacific Northwest. Includes a three to five-day camping trip with experienced leaders and guides.
Volunteer Opportunities: Seattle Audubon's Junior Naturalist program provides volunteer leadership opportunities for high school teens at a summer nature day camp for children. Junior Leaders work closely with adult naturalists to teach about birds and the environment. They help supervise kids, teach art, present lessons and lead games as well as do teen group projects. During the week each teen will be assigned to a "trail
group" of 10-12 children led by an adult Lead Naturalist. The Junior Naturalists will have a check-list of duties to perform throughout their week of volunteering that will help them grow as a teacher, a leader, and a mentor to younger campers. The Junior Naturalist Program is for students going into 9th grade.
Minimum hours: 1 week of volunteering; 35 hours and 1 day of training; June 18th

Seattle Youth Academy Seattle Youth Academy wants you to join us for two weeks next summer!
Visual and performing arts, sports, academic enrichment, and all kinds of
special interest classes like baking, cake decorating, bicycle tune-up and
even magic! Our classes are for ages 11-16, with full day and half day

Studio East Studio East offers summer camps for students age 4 through 10th grade. One week arts exploration camps for the 4-6 year olds, one week play creation camps for the 1st and 2nd graders, two week musical production camps for 3rd -6th graders, and two week production camps, both musical and non-musical, for 7th-10th graders. Summer Fun! A Performing and Visual Arts Day Camp for Children Summer Fun! A Performing and Visual Arts Daycamp for Children- Over the course of three weeks, play will be the vehicle for exploring drama, music, dance, arts and crafts, building scenery and props. Summer Fun! culminates with an evening performance of an original musical for family and friends. The camp, a 501 (c)(3) educational organization established in 1993, meets for three weeks Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Greenlake and Queen Anne neighborhoods. Extended care option until 5:30 PM is also available. Our professional staff consists of artists and teachers who enjoy sharing their expertise with others and enriching the lives of children through the arts. We strive to make every day unique and fun using carefully selected, skill-building activities. Although our goal is process-oriented, we endeavor to bring the highest quality art and technique to our performances.

Terra-Forma Education: Eco-Quest Eco-Quest is a five day quest-based adventure day camp. Youth ages 6-10 become immersed in complex stories, based on myths and legends, that develop around them. Along the way they will meet characters, find and follow clues and work together to complete their journey.
All adventures take place within the context of current environmental
education issues that challenge the partipants to explore and learn
about our interconnections with the Earth.

Villa Ventures at Villa Academy The Villa Ventures summer program provides children ages 4-12 opportunities for exploration guided by experienced and dedicated professionals. Specifically designed to inspire children of all interests, Villa Ventures courses are challenging and fun. The program draws upon the strength of Villa Academy's exceptional faculty and the excellence of our spacious facilities. We are very personal in our approach; enrollment in most activities is limited.Activity topics include visual and performing arts, sports, science and technology, academic enrichment and special interest topics such as chess and cooking. Village Theatre KIDSTAGE For twenty years, Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE has provided Puget Sound students and families a year round "home" for theatre arts activities. KIDSTAGE provides classes for students ages 3-20 in Issaquah, Everett, and Stanwood. Classes run year round and include week-long day camps in the summer. KIDSTAGE also has youth productions.
