Tom Shillue being his normal, hilarious Tom Shillue-self last Saturday. ![]() Jocelyn Hughes makes her triumphant first appearance on New York's best comedy show (ahem, next to the Drink At Work Show). The Crespo talking about how he would love to own a premise-correcting robot. Winners all. Comics hanging out and enjoying the awesomeness that is Moonwork. Reggie Watts just be a wonderful, life giving performer-dude.And if you enjoyed the above photos, check out Mindy's site www.WITHRESERVATION.com. She's a top notch photographer, but not just of comedy shows, of everything, of all visible matter! I mean, we're talking living things, dead things, chairs, clouds, clouds shaped like chairs...you name it and she's probably cropped and adjusted an image of it. But oh, it gets better. See, recently, she's been taking headshots for a number of actors and comedians, myself, John Lang, and John Mulaney included, and they are quite good I must say. In fact, the headshot she took for me a while gone just got me work...well, it got me through the casting director's door. TECHNICALLY it was my amazingness and unfilterable talent that "got" the job. But let us not quibble.Check out her work, and if you dig it and want some headshots (or any other photos) for your ownsome, give her an email (mindy@withreservation.com). Tell her I said hi, and don't forget to leave off the extra "S" for savings. Wait. No. Don't do that. But do email her. Ok this is done now.Labels: claudia cogan, dan curry, david cope, hannibal burress, headshots, jocelyn hughes, Mindy Tucker, moonwork, reggie watts, Sean Crespo, seth herzog, tom shillue, withreservation

Well, that's enough from me. I now leave you in the capable e-hands of comedian Mara Herron who will explain what this is all about in the message she sent out earlier today, seen below:----------------------To my dear family and friends,This is a cordial invitation to an event in honor of our good friend, Joe Powers. Joe is one of NYC's rising comedic stars, and one of the greatest people I have ever met. He means an incredible deal to me and I am deeply to saddened to report to those of you who do not know, that Joe Powers had a tragic accident. On August 23rd, Joe fell off a three story roof and has sustained injuries; broke his left leg, pelvis, 8-10 ribs and has a serious head injury. Many friends, Joe's loving family and I have been by his bedside for a lot of the time since the accident and it has been an overwhelmingly emotional experience for everyone. Although, Joe continues to progress, he still has a long road ahead of him in terms of recovery from his coma. Currently, Joe is at the Brady Institute and remains in critical condition. The incurring medical costs are overwhelming and we are reaching out to you to help raise funds for Joe and put on the show he would want to see. Joe is a light in the lives of many and this star studded event will reflect that. I would LOVE for all of you to be there. A show has NEVER BEEN MORE IMPORTANT TO ME.
